How does that work?

Because they truly believe that looking like them is what beauty is. And the only beauty there is. So if you don’t have light skin, light color eyes, thin facial features, you’re ugly to them.
This why I hate the “ im just don’t find block people/dark skin attractive ” or “they aren’t my type” people. It’s because the basis behind it is rooted in racism. The ideals have been ingrained so deeply it has manifested now into a “preference”.
